Whining months ago about Manchester City’s money after spending 35 million pounds on Andy Carroll (too bad he isn’t the “best player” John Henry was talking about or those naming rights for Anfield would look pretty good), then watching your baseball team tank in September and allow a team with a fraction of its financial resources to get into the playoffs, and then in response commissioning a bizarre, scattered hatchet-job on the two men who led said team to its greatest sustained period of success in the modern era. 

John Henry deserves everything he gets from here on out.
