This is what I think.

Bob Bradley

US Soccer is continuing to get the mediocrity it deserves by sticking with Bradley and insisting on going back to the well with low-profile NCAA coaches. The script is tired now for the US Men’s National Team: come out completely flat, get overrun for a half hour, start to get into the game, finally make a change, and scramble for a result against inferior competition. The match against Panama tonight wasn’t much different. The US has not progressed at all.

Also, the idea that Aston Villa was considering this guy to be their manager before the season is laughable. He has trouble gameplanning for Panama, he was going to get a club ready for the likes of United, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Tottenham, et al? What was he going to do, sign his son? US Soccer should’ve been so lucky as to have that happen, although I’m afraid Villa would’ve been looking up at West Ham this season. At least it might’ve been something of a dark comedy.
