This is a reminder to everyone that I, for a time in 2007, had magenta hair. Three things stand out about this photo to me:

1. It’s an unusually good photo of me, probably top 5 or 10 all-time, despite the obvious absurdity of wearing prescription sunglasses indoors. Regardless of whatever else you want to say I’m not very photogenic and you won’t convince me otherwise. Something’s always “off”.
2. I am willing to go to great lengths to do WILD AND CRAZY things for really important reasons, like softball. I promised to do this if our softball team swept a doubleheader. They did. (LOL I’m so random!)
3. For the first time people noticed something about me first other than the fact I’m a giant, which was refreshing in its own way.

So yeah. The Magenta Summer of 2007, ladies and gentlemen.
